Alfonso Forni is the brand of a young company which has a long story, that has its roots in a glorious past focused on the production of refractory bricks and other cooking materials, with a great distribution in America to the companies involved in the production of pizza ovens and wood fired ovens and in various food-industry sectors in Europe.
The approach to the world of wood-fired ovens begins with their marketing by Nunzio Alfonso, who decides, after years of hard work, spirit of sacrifice and entrepreneurial ability, to use the experience acquired by dedicating himself to the design of wood-fired ovens, having always been a great fan of them. He initially founded the "Bazarnuele" company in Giammoro, in the province of Messina, which inaugurated a thriving production of indirect cooking ovens commonly known as wood-burning ovens equipped with separate cooking chamber and combustion chamber. With the increase in sales and consequent production, the company moves to a new and larger production plant in the Giammoro Industrial Area, making a significant leap in quality which sees the acquisition of new machinery used in the production of its ovens and an expansion of its staff: an evolution that takes the name of NUNZIO ALFONSO S.R.L., the ultimate realization of an ambitious project in which to carry out all the production, logistics and storage activities in a single large structure that houses up to 15,000 Kg of raw materials and equipped with the most modern and functional technologies such as a 2500 Watt TRUMPF Laser that cuts sheet metal and raw materials into 3000x1500 sheets for the construction of wood-burning ovens and a 110-ton CNC controlled VICLA bending machine, all managed workshop 4.0, as well as 5 MIG/MAG welding stations and the following machines already present: a notching machine, a calender, a lathe, a shear, a punching machine.
Today NUNZIO ALFONSO S.R.L. is one of the most advanced engineering companies on the national territory that designs and manufactures indirect cooking wood-fired ovens, direct cooking wood-burning ovens (AKA known as pizza ovens), wood-burning stoves/cookers, barbecues, hybrid ovens (predisposed for gas, so they are usable with gas or wood-fired) and street-food pizza ovens under its own registered trademark ALFONSO FORNI and is constantly growing, open to new updates and always looking for improvements to be made after careful studies.
ALFONSO FORNI also creates customized products, such as wood-fired ovens for third-party customers with their logo, products for street-food and pizza truck.
Furthermore, at our factory, we carry out laser cutting and plasma cutting of panels for gates or fences and press bending of sheet metal up to 4 meters.
The one and only production and shipping plant is located in the Industrial Zone of Giammoro (in province of Messina), from where wood-fired ovens leave every day for all Italian locations and the main European countries, including Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Belgium , Spain, Germany, Austria, Ireland, but also to the United States of America.
