Technical specifications
- Material: AISI 304 stainless steel
- Diameter: 150 mm
- Thickness: 0.5 mm
- Type: Barrel-shaped windproof cap
- Cap width: greater than the diameter of the flue to facilitate the flow of fumes
- Finish: Polished stainless steel, weather-resistant and heat-resistant

Compatibility: Flue cap designed for fitting on top of a Ø 150 mm flue as the final element of the flue system. Its purpose is to protect the internal walls of the chimney from the effects of the weather. Compatible with the Alfonso 4 and 10-pizza wood-fired and hybrid ovens from the Professional range. It integrates perfectly with all linear elements and accessories from the Alfonso Forni Ø 150 mm range. Suitable for domestic installations in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key benefits
- Optimal protection from the wind: the barrel-shaped design, wider than the flue, counteracts external turbulence from any direction, preventing smoke from returning into the oven and maintaining a stable draught even in strong winds.
- Weather protection: prevents rainwater, snow, debris and animals from entering the flue, protecting the entire system over time.
- Strength and durability: AISI 304 stainless steel guarantees high resistance to corrosion and the elements, ensuring a long service life even in outdoor installations exposed to the weather.
Installation notes: Position the wind cap directly over the top opening of the flue and secure it firmly to prevent movement caused by gusts of wind. Check that the barrel-shaped cap does not obstruct normal draught and that the distance from the final vertical section complies with regulatory requirements. Installation must be carried out in accordance with current UNI EN 1856 regulations for solid fuel systems.
